Alpha build — in active development. Anything here can still change. What this means

About

What EVE Forge is

A web tool that keeps your EVE Online records: your pilots, wallets, market, industry, mining and corporation data in one place, and your own history kept past the window ESI still serves. It reads CCP's ESI API with the access you grant and shows that back to you. It writes to the game in exactly one place: an operator answering a support mail sends one reply, to the one pilot who mailed first. Nothing else — no orders, no contracts, no fittings.

You are on an alpha build

This instance runs in the open while the tool is still being built. It is real — your data is kept — but nothing about the interface or the tiers is settled yet.

  • Anything can still changeScreens, figures and workflows are still being reworked. What is here today can look different, or be replaced, in the next release.
  • Data is kept, not guaranteedYour records are not discarded on purpose, but corrections, migrations and re-syncs run against the live database and can rewrite stored history.
  • Tiers can be redrawnWhat Supporter, Pro and Corporation include is not final. A subscription bought now keeps working, but the limits behind it may move.
  • Your access is still real, and still read-onlyLinking a character grants genuine read access to your ESI data. Nothing is ever written to the game, and you can revoke it at CCP whenever you like.

Access

How logging in works

You do not have to log in to find out whether any of this is worth it. The market, mining and industry tools are the same pages either way and work with no account at all — the market browser, region compare, appraisal, the ore table and the survey analyzer, all on live prices in any region, all storing nothing.

Login is EVE SSO (OAuth 2.0 with PKCE). You authenticate at CCP, so your password never reaches us. What comes back is a token scoped to exactly what you approved. Refresh tokens are encrypted at rest, and our session cookie holds nothing but a signed character id — no personal data, no token. You can revoke everything at any moment through CCP's authorised applications page.

What you are approving is 24ESI scopes, and CCP's consent screen lists every one of them by name. They are grouped here by what they get you, with the names themselves one click away, so that screen holds no surprises.

Your pilot

Which character you are, your skillpoints, your training queue, the attribute implants in the clone you are in, and where you are docked or flying.

The implant read is the active clone only, and it is there so the training panel can tell you which attribute your queue leans on and whether anything is boosting it. EVE's own attribute numbers arrive with implants already added in and no breakdown, so without this we could show you a total and never the reason for it — and "you have no memory implant" is not a thing to say on a reading we were not allowed to take. Nothing here reaches your jump clones.

Wallet and finance

Your ISK balance, your wallet journal and your market transactions.

One scope covers all three at CCP; there is no way to grant the balance without the journal. It is also what makes profit reporting real — fees and tax are read out of the journal rather than estimated — and how an ISK payment to EVE Forge is matched to your account.

Market and trading

Your own open market orders and your order history, plus prices inside the private player structures you register.

The two structure scopes only reach structures you can already dock in, and only the ones you add yourself. They are what lets a price come from your own citadel instead of from the nearest hub.

Industry, mining and planets

Your blueprints, your industry jobs, your planetary colonies and your mining ledger.

CCP publishes no read-only scope for planetary interaction: manage_planets is the only one there is, and it is the one on the consent screen. EVE Forge never writes to your planets, or to anything else you own: every route that touches your data calls a GET. The one write this application performs is an operator replying to a support mail from their own mailbox, which needs no scope from you.

Corporation

Your own corporation roles, and — where those roles allow it — the corporation's roster, wallet divisions, orders, industry jobs, blueprints and contracts.

These additionally require the matching in-game role. Without Accountant or Director, CCP answers 403 and the section stays empty; we cannot and do not work around that. Corporation assets and facilities used to be on this screen and are not any more: nothing read them, and a grant is not a place to reserve access for later.

A scope you withhold is skipped entirely rather than half-filled: the panel that needed it says so instead of showing a misleading zero. The same holds when ESI is having a bad day — a panel that cannot load says so, rather than quietly showing you a wrong number.

Data

Which data it uses

All private EVE account data comes through CCP's ESI API, for the characters you linked and only within the scopes you granted. Older public killmail history is recovered from zKillboard after it falls outside ESI's recent window. Nothing private about your account is scraped, bought from a third party, or filled in on your behalf.

Part of it becomes your own history. ESI is a live window rather than an archive — the mining ledger only reaches back 30 days, and recent killmails drop off it entirely — so a year-over-year profit view or a complete killboard can only exist if that history is kept for you. That is what it is for: your history is shown back to you, and it is not pooled with other pilots' or sold on.

Personal, corporation and alliance data are never silently merged: each screen has one owner, decided before it was built, and corporation reporting follows your actual in-game role. There is no self-service way to unlink a character or delete an account: revoking at CCP stops new data arriving, and what is already stored stays. The privacy policy is explicit about that rather than leaving it to be discovered.

One thing it will not do: guess. The planetary interaction planner works out what your colonies produce per hour, which input runs out first and what the chain is worth, all from your real extractor and factory pins. It will not tell you what an uncolonised planet would yield, because the two things that answer needs — how rich a given planet is, and how fast an extractor decays — are published by CCP in neither the static data nor the API. A number invented to fill that gap would look exactly as precise as the ones that are real.

Money

Paid in ISK

EVE Forge is free to use on one character with 30 days of history, and the market tools are free in every region whether or not you are signed in at all. Supporter and Pro raise the character limit, unlock all-time history, and add the opportunity scanner. A separate Corporation product covers corporation finance reporting. Everything is bought with in-game ISK from your account balance — no card, no euros, and no public API to resell.
